If you're new to stationery, or just need a little clarification, here are some terms that can help you navigate our website and products. If there's still something you aren't sure about, please feel free to ask!
Lingo:Custom Invitation - Your pictures, your words, printed right on the invitation. When you purchase one of our custom invitations, make sure you list all of the text you'd like to appear on your invitation in the "note to seller" space on your invoice. Don't worry, if you forget, we'll be in touch. You get one digital proof to check everything over before your order is printed and shipped to you. You can even change the colors and the font if you wish. Please indicate this on your payment as well to speed up the design process.
Fill-In Invitation - These invitations are pre-printed with blank spaces that allow you to write your party information. These are great when your budget is tight but you don't want to skimp on style! Note Card - Our notecards are folded cards with blank insides that allow you to write thank you notes or personal messages to your recipients. | Size Reference: |
Logistics:
How long will it take to get my order? Ready made items will be available to ship within 1-2 business days. Depending on quantity, some ready made items will require more time to process - we'll notify you of the time frame when you place your order. If you need to know ahead of time, just ask!
Custom invitations can be ready for print in as little as 2-3 days (depending on other orders and how quickly you approve your proof). All of our orders are processed as they are received and done as quickly as possible without compromising quality. If you're on a short deadline, just let us know - we will do everything possible to accommodate you!
How do I submit my information and images for my custom order? Please give us as much possible information on your invoice in the "Note to Seller" box. This will speed up the design process and get you a proof quicker. If you forget or have questions, don't worry, we'll be in touch as soon as your order is received. If you have questions about a design prior to ordering, please submit it here.
How do I purchase items? Simply add items to your cart and check out securely through PayPal. You do not need a PayPal account to make purchases, just continue with your debit card. If you would prefer to mail a check, indicate on your invoice and mail to the address provided. Checks will require a 10 day waiting period before custom orders are printed and items shipped.
How do you ship? Shipping on Speckled Duck.com's website is a flat rate of $5.50 when shipped to an address in the United States. Shipping to Canada is just $15. Most of our items are shipped via USPS Priority Mail, ensuring delivery in 2-3 days to most locations. Some packages are shipped via First Class Mail. Express Mail (overnight) rates can be added upon request for rush orders.
How are my invitations packaged? We take great care in packaging your custom and ready-made invitations in clear acrylic gift boxes or in sealed clear bags. Boxes are used for gift items. If you'd like us to wrap the gift for you, please add it to your cart in the "Packages" section of our site.
Do you have a physical store? At this time, you can only purchase items from The Speckled Duck online and in our Etsy shop. All of our cards are designed, printed and hand packaged in beautiful Austin, Texas! Local delivery is limited, please inquire for availability.
Are envelopes included? All of our invitations and notecards are priced with white envelopes unless otherwise noted. Colors are available, please inquire before placing your order if the item is not already listed with colored envelopes.
Can I purchase a digital file and print my own cards? The Speckled Duck does not supply printables. In order to preserve the quality and integrity of our designs, we only sell finished goods. Your order is digitally printed on 100# cover stock and will not be printed with Speckled Duck's information or logo. Watermarks are used on your proofs, but will not print on your finished cards. Note: All folded note cards display a copyright and Speckled Duck's web address on the back of the card.
